Pronto by Giovi is a culinary venture founded by Giovanna Boventi, affectionately known as Giovi, in Queenstown, New Zealand. With a passion for great food and a deep-rooted connection to their Italian heritage, Giovanna’s family invites guests to embark on a mouthwatering journey through the flavours of Italy at their cosy laneway shop on Searle Lane. From handcrafted focaccia sandwiches to indulgent lasagne and decadent desserts, every bite at Pronto by Giovi celebrates Italian culture, hospitality, and the joy of good food. Buon Appetito!

FOCACCIA SANDWICHES
We start with freshly baked focaccia bread made with extra virgin olive oil, cooked so it is soft on the inside with the perfect crunch on the outside. Filled with our favourite meats, cheeses, vegetables and pestos for taste perfection on the go.
DOLCE
A selection of our tried and true ristorant desserts will finis your pit stop perfectly. Tiramisu with layers of mascarpone, berry pannacotta made with coconut cream for our vegan lovers and our Giovi special crostata filled with Nutella. Something for everyone

“Italian cuisine is often associated with sitting around a table, with a glass of wine, life in Italy can be very fast, so there is also a tradition and culture of quick bites and street food. Of course, this is just as delicious as a sit-down meal, just more casual. So my idea was to offer this to Queenstown by creating Pronto”
